Studying in Class

Today during class, we got to study for tomorrows test. We spent the whole class doing this. I created an account on quizlet.com and create flashcards for the Greek words. I made flashcards for the words agora, arete, polis, 508 BC, Socrates, the death of Socrates, the sacratic method, and what it meant when the ancient Greeks called you an idiot, and also the quote that Sacrates said which was " The unexamined life is not worth living ". I also reread the story of A Message to Garcia. A Message to Garcia was about a guy named Rowen that gave a personal message from President McKinley to Garcia that was in Cuba. During this time, when people where told to do something, they were lazy to do it because it was too much work. Like for example, if you wanted to search up something, you can't use google because it wasn't invented during this time so they had to look it up in the dictionary and the encyclopedia. People had to do more work and people were lazy. Rowen stood out people he didn't complain when he was told to send that message to Garcia. I also watch the video on the Did You Know facts. We went through on how we felt after watching that. Each facts in the video was very interesting and made me think. It made me think because each fact was telling me about things in the world that was weird that I never knew. I also went through the what globalization was and how it effects the world. Globalization is the connection of different parts around the world. Globalization results in the expansion of global, cultural, international, economies activities.
