Today during class we talked about crude birth and death rates out of every 1000 people. To get the rate of the natural increase is by subtracting the death rate from the birth rate. Net migration is the excess of persons entering the country. Net migration is written as a positive number. For example the United States has 3.92 migrants per 1000 population.
